We did milk in a sippy before bed until age 2. I was worried about his teeth, but both dentist visits so far have been perfect. My lo is and has always been tiny, so the extra calories trumped potential cavities. After age 2 his milk intake really declined.

DS is 2 and still requests a cup of milk in bed. He refuses to lie down and go to sleep unless he's had milk. Even if he was just drinking some on the couch 1 minute ago!

He doesn't get milk during meal times. Just water.

My 13 month old still gets a 6 oz bottle before bed. She gets milk in a straw cup for breakfast, and snacks, and water for lunch and dinner. The daycare offers milk for all meals, but at home, thats what we do.

We give DD a 5 oz sippy cup during story time before bed. So it's bath, story and milk, brush teeth then bed. She is 20 months. Sometimes she finishes it sometimes she doesn't.

We offer about 6 oz in a straw cup but lately he's only drinking about 1-2 oz. Our ped's guideline is 14 oz total per day max at this age (17 mo) but I think there is a range of recommendations. mine doesn't drink that much even if I offer it to him....

DS is 13.5 months and we still give him a bottle before bed. It's usually 6-8 oz depending on his intake throughout the day. He also gets a straw cup of milk in the morning and after lunch/in the afternoon. We don't give him milk at dinner bc of the bedtime bottle - he drinks water with dinner. Our ped said somewhere in the 16-24oz/day range is fine at his age.

She gets about 16oz a day. We do 4 in a straw cup after breakfast and lunch, then 8 in a bottle after dinner/before bed.

Do your one years old still get a bottle before bed? We cut bottles cold turkey around 12 months with no issues. We give LO a sippy of water before bed, just wondering if your one year olds get milk before bed? If so, do they get milk with dinner too?
Trying to get an idea of how much milk other one year olds are drinking. Our pediatrician told us at his last check up but I can't remember!
