@mediagirl: they are probably BPA free? i haven't seen anything not BPA free in the last 2-3 years. it seems like everything is - so they say anyway!

@looch: Thanks. I think I'll pick up one at BRU and compare it to the ones I have, as well.

@Andrea: Ooooo good call. I don't know. I will call them and ask before I purchase anything. It does look, now that I'm researching stuff online, like companies are only selling BPA free bottles now.

@mediagirl: I used the Avent ones, and the ones with the honey tint are BPA free. As far as I can tell, they were not stained by formula after a year of consistent use.

@mrbee: @Andrea: @chopsuey119: They're all Avent bottles. I'll have to check out the company's website. Thanks! And I'm leaning towards just spending the money and getting a couple of glass bottles. At least that way I know they're BPA Free!!

I would research as well! I really liked my Dr. Brown's glass bottles.

I would Google or call the company directly and ask them if your search is still not clear. Sorry I don't know if formula stains because we used Playtex drop-ins!

@mediagirl: Yah probably... although, can you Google info on the bottles to see if that brand has always been BPA-free? Then you'd have a "get out of buying bottles free" card!

When I was 20 weeks pregnant, we went to a kids sale and bought a bunch of bottles. A friend of ours gave us a bunch, as well. They're all the same type of bottles. The problem is, I don't know if they're bpa free or not. I read somewhere if they have a yellow tinge to them, they are bpa free. I think about 4 of the bottles are yellowish but can that staining occur from formula, as well?

Should I just re-sell them all and buy ones I know are BPA free? I'm thinking that's the way we should go but I wanted opinions.
