@jennlin821: thanks for sharing the details on how that worked! I might consider getting enough to last at least a couple of days, i also have an extra set of pump parts so its worth it having an extra set of bottles!

@Mrsbells: Yes, DH and I decided that it was worth getting enough bottles to last the week (4 each day at daycare + 5 for home) I think we had 20 total? Daycare rinsed them out, I would toss them in a dish bucket till the weekend. Then I filled the bucket with soapy water and washed/rinsed by hand. I'd then lay them out to dry on the two boon racks and on a drying mat. (I usually washed Saturday night, they would air dry overnight) Sunday I would assemble them, and put them into 5 gallon ziploc bags, so that I could just grab the bag I needed for that day. (Daycare preferred to heat up the breastmilk in the bags, so the bottles didn't need to be refrigerated.)

We cloth diaper, so there was only so much after-work/after-daycare cleaning I could handle!

@JJ2626: yes we use the dishwasher for our plates etc but don't want to put any baby bottles, breast pump parts or water bottles in there.

Update: I decided to just get another spinning rack since it holds the most items and also add a twig accessory to my boon grass

Do you have a dishwasher? We just wash bottles in there and don’t need such a big drying rack!

@jennlin821: good point. Our counterspace is long but the sink is not centered so there's more space on one side than the other. I didnt realize the boon rack had a job square option. I'm looking that up now.
Wow washing bottles once a week sounds heavenly

I think this depends on the layout of your counters? I had two boon grass racks. One was long and one was square. We washed bottles only 1x per week, so these could fit about 18 bottles? I did have to use a drying mat also. I loved the boon grass mats because I could spread things out or stuff them together/on top of each other as needed.

We currently have 2 racks; the small grass rack by boon and a spinning rack. Even though my LOs are 2 and 6, we still use them heavily because we handwash all their bottles and cups. with baby number 3 on the way we definitely need more drying space for bottles and breast pump parts. I can get an extra spinning rack or maybe the dr browns rack in addition to the 2 we already have but I'm wondering if there is a high capacity rack so I won't need 3 separate racks on my counter. I have thought about replacing my small boon grass mat for a bigger one. Any other ideas?
