Another vote for Dr. Brown's. LO has reflux so they were the only ones that worked for us.

You might try the ventaires - the babies might be used to a really wide based nipple, so I might stick with the Playtex brand.

We liked the Playtex Ventaire. We switched from the dropins for the same reason as you, waste of money and I felt like it was creating a lot of waste. The Ventaire bottles don't have a lot of parts so they aren't that hard to clean, I liked that.

We use Dr. Brown's and my husband is (ironically?) washing them right now! It can be a bit of a pain to wash them, because you have five parts (the bottle, the blue insert thing, the thing that the blue insert thing goes into, the nipple, and the nipple holder) but it isn't too annoying...

Thanks! How much of a pain is washing all the parts for Dr. Brown's bottles??

We tried Avent and had the same issues.

We used both Playtex VentAire and Dr Brown's with great success. I like the Dr Browns the best, though.

My DD had tummy gas issues as a newborn as well. Switching bottles and putting gas drops in the bottles helped immensely.

My boys seem to take the Playtex nurser bottles with drop-ins well, but I don't want to keep spending money on the liners. We tried the Avent bottles but I think they caused gas issues in them, and caused one of them to vomit after feedings. What bottle would you recommend that is similar to the Playtex nursers and helps reduce gas?
