I never really heated bottles of any kind of milk from the start, warmed breastmilk just enough to get the cream to mix back in, so DD only got it truly warm when it came from the source, and that way she never expected a warm bottle. But, maybe gradually warm less and less, until your LO takes it cold? It might be easier than an abrupt change. You don't need a warmer- holding the bottle under warm water for a few minutes does the trick. Good luck!

I still haven't changed over to cold formula... She doesn't like it! She's almost 11 months. I figure we'll get there when we get there... I hope. ;)

I always heated breastmilk...she liked it HOT! I heated milk for the first week after she turned 1. She now drinks breastmilk and milk cold at 19 months old.

Curious to see the answers here. We heat bottles to warm at home and he gets room temp when on the go. He NEVER finishes his room temp ones so I'm curious to see how COLD goes over someday. (Only 5m now!)

So our bottle warmer kicked the bucket. M is 10 months and I thought it might be a good time try giving them to her cold since I assume we'll be giving her cold milk at 1 year. We keep bottles in the fridge but only heat them to room temp so she isn't used to having them very warm. Anyway, she is NOT happy with the chilly bottles. I keep thinking she'll get used to it but it's been a week and we're still struggling through each bottle.

Did you switch bottle temps at some point? Did you heat up whole milk at a year?
