@littlejoy: Right? Gah...I'd pay top dollar for a stainless steel cup (or any cup for that matter) that doesn't leak!

@rockinghorse: I don't think you got a bad one...ours leaks too and it's maddening. I love the stainless though!

@rockinghorse: The straw took her a little while to figure out (but we introduced it pretty young, too). I love that the whole thing is stainless and silicone! We get little dribbles sometimes (especially if it's really full), but no big leaks so far. It's also nice that you can order different tops so that it can grow with LO.

My LO likes the Pura Kiki with the straw top. We started using it for water when she was 6-8 months old, and then buying a second one in a different color was the key to getting her to drink breast milk out of a cup after she turned one.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: @2PeasinaPod: Her favorite one is the Munchkin weighted straw cup, and I like it too because it doesn't leak. But it is plastic, so I might just need to get over my plastic phobia.

@wrkbrk: Right now that is also our favorite. I even tweeted Munchkin to see if they had any plans to make a stainless steel option! :silly: They replied and said no. :crying:

@2PeasinaPod: I tried the Thinkster, and it leaks horribly between the top and the cup. I'm thinking I got a bad one. I contacted the company... horrible customer service, still haven't heard back. The straw is amazing though! I also have the Foogo, and like it, but when DD throws it around since the straw is just wide open, we end up with puddles. If I could put the Thinkster straw on the Foogo, it would make the ultimate cup!!!

@littlejoy: I think you are right!

@peaches1038: I can't get her to drink out of this cup! She will only do straws, and she doesn't tip up her cups to drink. It would be perfect though!!

No advice on cups, but I tend to over-research as well! I did that with prenatals for like a year. :(

Interested to hear which one your LO likes the best and doesn't leak! We're still searching for the cup that doesn't leak.

The Thinkbaby Thinkster is a good one, but I've found it will leak if it gets dropped...which my toddler does often. The Thermos FOOGO stainless steel cup also works really well, but with milk, the top gets crusty throughout the day. It's the only one I've found that doesn't leak, but the top is plastic.

We tried a bunch, but it is because the first ones we got DS didnt like. Ended up with the munchkin weighted straw cup and it works like a dream! It is plastic though.

I bought several, and at 1, our kiddo protested bottles AND sippies, and wanted to drink directly out of small cups. :)

So much for being prepared.

FWIW, my favorite ones were the super cheapie plastic ones from the grocery store. She also used the Wow Cup for a few months.

Since you bought so many, which one is the best?

We bought two different kinds. I'm sending the straw sippy cup to daycare because that's what the teacher prefer, but I hear that LO throws it on the floor.

Ok guys, I'm having an issue. I tend to obsess about certain things, like when I was pregnant I would research every product like crazy before I put it on my registry or bought it. My daughter is turning 1 next week, and my new obsession is straw cups. I want to get a plastic free straw cup, so I'm mainly getting stainless steel versions. Long story short, I have now purchased 8 different cups (both plastic and stainless steel).

Hi, my name is Rockinghorse, and I am a sippy cup addict.

Can anyone relate? Or is my obsessive personality just making me nuts? :silly:
