I put a mug of water in the microwave and then stick the bottle in the hot water for a minute. We dispense hot water into a mug and warm up the bottle in there. I cannot live without it. We use it so much for non-baby related things too. Ours has a timer, so it turns off when the bottle is warm and we don't need to keep checking to see if the bottle is warm enough yet. So we can put the bottle on and walk away and get E ready to eat and come back and it's done. We've not found it necessary to warm our bm at all, when I start freezing well just defrost in warm water. I exclusively pumped for the first 6 months and warmed the milk by holding the bag under warm running water. I found this way was fastest/most convenient. I had a warmer but it took too long to heat the milk so I ended up selling it. We use either the microwave to warm water to warm it in or we use the Keurig to warm the water. You could keep a pot of water on the coffee maker all day, too if you didn't have a keurig. I hear all the time they were a waste and completely unnecessary, which I would TOTALLY agree with if we were planning of doing formula. I plan on BF and pumping though, so is it a necessity for pumped milk? How do you warm yours if you don't use a bottle warmer? Advice? Suggestions?
