Sadie doesn't care about the temperature, she just gobbles up any food like a little piggy, but I will usually warm it a little just so it's not refridgerator cold. I put a mug of water in the microwave and then stick the bottle in the hot water for a minute. I don't pump enough to freeze, but I imagine the microwaved water would do the trick for that as well.

LO takes cold bottles or we put it in some warm water. Bottle warmer takes up precious counter space--we got rid of that thing in a hot minute.

Not necessary, but for $15 over the course of a year of life, it makes life easier for me - breastmilk and formula alike, if you have bottles that go in the fridge. I've spent a lot more money on a lot less useful things over the course of my kids life :)

We have an electric hot water dispenser that we've had before baby (for tea, coffee, boiling water, etc). We dispense hot water into a mug and warm up the bottle in there. I cannot live without it. We use it so much for non-baby related things too.

Probably not necessary, but it sure is convenient. Ours has a timer, so it turns off when the bottle is warm and we don't need to keep checking to see if the bottle is warm enough yet. So we can put the bottle on and walk away and get E ready to eat and come back and it's done. He gets pumped milk and won't take it cold.

We set the bottle out to get it to room temp and DS takes it fine. We've not found it necessary to warm our bm at all, when I start freezing well just defrost in warm water.

Unnecessary, in my opinion. I exclusively pumped for the first 6 months and warmed the milk by holding the bag under warm running water. I found this way was fastest/most convenient. I had a warmer but it took too long to heat the milk so I ended up selling it.

We are starting to set up our registry (Grandparents and great grandparents have been begging for one already!) and one thing I am unsure about is bottle warmers. I hear all the time they were a waste and completely unnecessary, which I would TOTALLY agree with if we were planning of doing formula. I plan on BF and pumping though, so is it a necessity for pumped milk? How do you warm yours if you don't use a bottle warmer?

Advice? Suggestions?
