We tried Dr. Brown's with the slowest flow nipple, and it was too fast for him to handle. We realized that he just had to learn how to use whichever bottle we gave to him. It took a lot of spilled milk for him to get the hang of it, but he adjusted well to the Lifefactory bottles. I first tried breastflow for breastfed babies and he hates it with a passion, would push away and not have any interest. I got the playtex ventaire and he has been using them 3 months now. I also tried avent and soothie and she didn't care for them either. I was getting frustrated at finding a bottle she liked before we ran out of hospital ready to serve bottles (and nipples) and my dad had bought me a random pack of wal-mart brand bottles and she took to them instantly.
