Eli spits up a lot. He is on the playtex drop-ins now. We tried the dr brown as well but it's still too fast for him and he drinks in too much air.

Elliot had a difficult time learning how to drink from a bottle (he didn't take well to breastfeeding directly either). We tried Dr. Brown's with the slowest flow nipple, and it was too fast for him to handle. We realized that he just had to learn how to use whichever bottle we gave to him. It took a lot of spilled milk for him to get the hang of it, but he adjusted well to the Lifefactory bottles. It is a bit heavy, but I prefer glass over plastic.

I use playtex ventaire for my son. I first tried breastflow for breastfed babies and he hates it with a passion, would push away and not have any interest. I got the playtex ventaire and he has been using them 3 months now. I'm about to switch up to the 3 month nipples now for the little guy. :)

When Claire had colic, we tried every bottle under the sun and Dr. Brown's was the only one that she would take, AND helped the most with her gas. Yes, the parts can be a PITA to clean, but they only take a few minutes more and it has been totally worth it for us.

Max was cool with the Medela bottles with a slow flow nipple. After he started taking formula we moved to a Nuby cup with an interchangeable nipple or sippy top, but so far he will only drink from the nipple.

We use both Tommee tippee and dr brown...Finn will use both but I prefer the fewer parts of the Tommee tippees!

I really wanted to use playtex ventaire for my daughter but she had no interest in them. I also tried avent and soothie and she didn't care for them either. I was getting frustrated at finding a bottle she liked before we ran out of hospital ready to serve bottles (and nipples) and my dad had bought me a random pack of wal-mart brand bottles and she took to them instantly. Its odd at how they can show a preference so early.

the medela bottles were way too fast. charlie hated my brest friend bottles. i loved playtex drop-ins because they had a really slow flow. once charlie needed a faster flow, we switched to born free.

i'm going to give avent slow flow this time around for olive because i've read the nipples have a very slow flow.

What kind of bottles are ya'll using?

I started with the tommee tippees because it's supposed to mimic the breast. I thought it would make the transition from breast to bottle easier. But then I didn't like how they pressed against DDs's nose.

We use the born free bottles now and I love them!

What bottles work or didn't work for you!?
