Occasionally she would have a long nap and not get to the fourth bottle. </p> <p>Now after 6 months and starting to eat more solids, she is down to three 5 ounce bottles (15 ounces total) in a 10 hour day. We are trying to get her to drink all three since she is still nursing in the middle of the night and would like her to try to stop that feeding. One bottle every 2 - 2.5 hours.</p> <p>Between 4-8 months my son drank three 5 oz bottles of breastmilk for a total of 15 oz per 10 hour day with me coming to nurse him at lunch. One bottle every 2.5 - 3 hours.</p> <p>Between 8-12 months my son drank three 5 oz bottles of formula for a total of 15 oz per 9 hour day (no mid-day nursing session). They were 6 oz.
