Update: Yeah, I didn't use the bottles for feeding, just pumping / storage. So the nipples & vents never got used with me. I had one of those picky babies that choose a bottle incompatible with the Medela :) Shout out for the awesome Lasinoh mOmma bottles! I think they're similar to my nippple shape, so very hopeful that Baby #2 will take them.

I would keep and then check out with another baby. If the nipples look bad or plastic looks bad, I trash and buy new nipples. We bought glass and they look great and just replaced a few nipples.

@DesertDreams88: I kept the bottles 4 years. Bought new nipples because my daughter only likes the slow flow and the last ones were medium flow.

I reused our bottles and even the nipples for dd2. Just gave them a good sterlization before she was born and have had no issues.

I EPed/FFed Dd1 for 15 months before she was off bottles. Dd2 is EPed/FFed also for 12 months now and the bottles are still in great shape. I used the smaller Avent for the first 4 months then Playtex Ventair after that when they started drinking larger quantities.

I would keep them at least to see if it's a bottle your next LO likes. I did not end up reusing plastic bottles because I got a new pump with new bottles (different brand) but I did save the old ones just in case.

I got all new bottles for DS2. Something about old stored plastic weirded me out.

So, I have a ton of 8oz Dr. Brown plastic bottles that I was about to pack away because LO is down to about 5oz per serving. But I'm wondering if I should just get rid of them due to overuse.....??

They were used for an exclusively FF baby for a year, and then for pumped milk for my LO for 5 months (so, about half of his feedings). Do you think they still have some life in them and I should save for next baby (God willing)? I also have 7 5oz medela bottles for pumping, 10+ Lasinoh bottles for feeding, and various other bottles of other brands. So, it's not like they're my only bottles.

If you re-used bottles for baby #2 or 3, how many cumulative months/years did you use them for?
