Skip the pull-ups! My son now loves his pull-ups but treats them just like diapers. When he wears underwear he's fine, but he knows pull-ups are basically diapers. I would definitely give it some time - I bet it was harder because he was sick. </p> <p>OCPT also recommends going to loose pants or dresses for girls before undies. After I noticed this for about a week we decided to just send her in underwear. Bottomless 1-2 days, then shorts without underwear (not sure if this made a difference or not) and eventually undies by day 3/4. We just took him to the potty alot and encouraged him to keep the unders dry. They had just enough padding to help absorb pee accidents but he still felt wet so he knew he had an accident. We decided to try OCPT this weekend and LO1 was very upset with the bottomless approach. I think he's just not used to going around bottomless and wanted to be held for most of the day. He also ended up having a high fever later that day and the rest of the weekend so we are going to start over another weekend. Curious to know what worked for others. </p>
