I really, really dislike sweet wines, and while a lot of wines in general are sweet, our favorite table red is $6.99 and there are a ton of really good, non sweet wines well under $10 bottle. Even under $8 a bottle. I'm sure there are OK boxed wines, but there plenty of cheap bottled wines too. I really like Bota Box Shiraz and Merlot. Black Box has some good ones as well, especially Sauvignon Blanc.</p> <p>When we hosted a fancy Christmas Party last year, we just kept refilling antique crystal decanters with the above shiraz and SB. But my friend swore by it this morning over breakfast, and said it's gotten better and better over the years.
