I like having a toddler, and as I often tell him, he gives great hugs. But I want him to grow up and be independent and know that he has supportive parents. But the distance doesn't always happen :silly: My husband and uncle are still close with their moms big time. My uncle has grown kids and it's beautiful how seeing this caring side to their dad has shaped them.
