I don't think they are told to ask boy/girl, I think that's probably just quicker/easier. But yeah, gendered stuff bugs. </p> <p>The Hello Kitty art stuff is pretty good - my LO got a little HK hard plastic case while we were on vacation that's the perfect size for keeping little things in. When they go, she gets a happy meal. The first time they went the girl toys were hideous, they seemed to be for older kids. So, since then, he has gotten her the boy toys.
