I went through the same thing a few months ago! I just got measured post nursing an am a 32C as well. Its a bit of a hard size to find in the stores. I went to SOMA Intimates and bought this one - http://www.soma.com/store/product/enhancing-shape-full-coverage-bra/570116950?color=8023&catId=cat10199287&fromSearch=true&scPos=1-361-443. I tried on a couple from the store but this one was by far the most comfortable and supportive. Its a bit pricey at $54 but worth the investment!

@PinkElephant: Just wanted to update that I received my bras and love them. They are so soft and comfortable. Way better than the VS one I've been wearing. I used the sizing chart they have on the Soma website, but they do free sizing at the stores as well!

Thanks for all the great suggestions!

@ValentineMommy: Believe it or not, I've never heard of Soma before - looks like they have some great options.

@lawbee11: Thanks for the Soma coupon tip - I'll be curious to hear how you like your bras (particularly how you figured out the right size) if you have a chance to come back with a review! :)

@chillybear: Appreciate the specific links - the selection on that site is overwhelming!

@CakeLady: I was so wrong on size before I had my first baby - after that pregnancy I went to buy nursing/second pregnancy bras at an upscale lingerie boutique. The lady there actually mentioned that the Freya bras @blackbird: mentioned would be great for my build, but she didn't sell many in her shop. I could probably stand to get re-measured though.

@Mrs. Oatmeal: Thanks! I haven't had much luck with VS in the past (not a lot of selection in big cup/small bands), but there is one in my neighborhood so I will have to take a look next time I'm there.

@Foodnerd81: @snowjewelz: I know, I know you're totally right :). I was just trying on bras the other day in my excitement to ditch the nursing bras, and was literally either spilling out the top (small cup) or falling out the bottom (loose band) of all but 1-2 bras. I'm going to try to make due (and try to wrap up the night feeds soon!)

I second soma and recommend going in for a fitting... I whisked away into a dressing room, the attendant was very attentive and saw each bra on me, listened to what i liked and didn't like, before bringing me a different size or style. I ended up with the senuous sides bra, gives a nice lift and makes my cleavage look as good as pre pregnancy
http://www.soma.com/store/product/sensuous-sides-full-coverage-bra/570049747?color=182&catId=cat40089&fromSearch=true&scPos=1-3543-3646
And the enhancing shape - comfortable and the color was on sale during the semi annual sale
http://www.soma.com/store/product/enhancing-shape-full-coverage-bra/570116950?color=8023&catId=cat10199287&fromSearch=true&scPos=1-449-443

I'd def go somewhere nice to get a fitting too... I don't even know what my size is anymore! I plan to do that too once I'm done nursing.

I am not there yet, but I would say to definitely get professionally fitted- and I think someplace like nordstroms does a much better job than Victoria's Secret (which I don't think even has many 32 bras).

Also I'd personally wait a few weeks from when you are totally done nursing to give your boobs a chance to settle. I'd hate to buy nice new bras and have them not fit perfectly in a month. Maybe get a couple of cheap full coverage ones from target or something if you really need something in between.

I've been really happy with my Freya bras. A balconette/Demi style worked best PP because my shape got flat on top

@PinkElephant: I haven't received them yet, but I just ordered 2 news bras from Soma over the weekend. I got one neutral everyday bra and one sexier lace one. They were 2 for $59 and had great reviews. Also, if you sign up for their emails they send you a 20% off coupon to use in-store or online.

I went to Nordstrom for a fitting, it was incredibly enlightening, I was SO wrong about size. I splurged on 3 Natori bras. They come in small band big cup sizes and definitely hold everything in.

Though lots of people may disagree, the ONLY bra I've found that works well for me post-breastfeeding have been the Tshirt bras from Victoria's Secret. Wide band to prevent that awkward back fat, big enough cups to cover (I'm a DDD/E), and thicker straps...but still relatively cute!

I'm finally (almost) done nursing baby #2 (she still breastfeeds at night) and am SO READY to be done with nursing bras during the day! Unfortunately, I pulled out all my old cutesy pre pregnancy bras and they are NOT going to work out.

What brand/style of bras do you like best? It's been YEARS since I've bought new ones and I have no idea where to start. I'm mainly looking for some neutral basics to wear day-to-day under casual clothes, but a few fun ones might be nice as well.

My biggest problem is finding bras in a small band size with wide set/full coverage cups - the issue with all my old bras is spillage now that I'm a bit, shall we say, deflated, from 3+ years of either being pregnant or breastfeeding. I need about a 32C (though I should probably get measured when I go shopping)

Thanks in advance!
