I'm proud of my smart girl! I pick her up and she just wants a cuddle - it melts my heart!<br /> Also her giggles are much more free, she used to make us work for them, but now even just looking at her when I've caught her looking at me has her in a fit of giggles. E finally started stacking things instead of just knocking them down, which is very exciting to me. </p> <p>He constantly wants to put things in my mouth. Goldfish, cheese, his pacifier (the latter a LOT). And use our hands/fingers like tools. DH was playing with him with his little toy laptop this morning, and all E wanted to do was use DH's finger to press the buttons. DH finally said "No, you can push them yourself" and put his hands behind his back. E stood up, walked around DH's back and pulled his arm/hand/finger back around front to the laptop.</p> <p>He's learning how to go down stairs. He can get on his belly and crawl down backwards, but when we were at my IL's over the weekend he wanted to walk down, holding my hand. Up and down, over and over. We don't have stairs at our house, so I'm glad he got a chance to practice!</p> <p>But my favorite was this morning. It was around 5a and I was cuddled with him on the futon in his room nursing. He pulled away and pulled back to look me in the eye and gave me this smile, and I just knew that if he could talk he would have told me how much he loves me. Then I pulled back a little to see him better and he wrapped one hand around the strap of my tanktop and the other clutched around my waist so I couldn't move away.
