I just noticed this with my LO (she just moved into size 2T and the new set of leggings I got her from Carters in the "bigger" size are way too tight). She still seems ok with Gap and Old Navy so I am sticking to those for now.

H&m are crazy tight! I find Carters and Gap a bit more forgiving but even Gap is starting to run too tight around DD's waist such that she is pushing the waist down. Dd is 3 but wearing size 4 and still in diapers so we have a similar issue. Sorry I haven't found anything wider than these but maybe try boys leggings?

This is probably not helpful yet, but maybe in a couple of years. Instead of 4T, we have gone to girls 4 leggings and they aren't as tight.

I found Circo runs very tight. I haven't bought any regular ones recently but I just suggest not drying them when you wash them. Drying them typically makes leggings tighter, in my experience. My daughter doesn't like tight leggings so....I know very well this problem. ;-)

I think the Circo ones from Target run a little wider.

What brand leggings run a little looser in toddler sizes? We have some Carter's and Crazy 8 leggings that are so tight now that my LO is in 3T- the 24 month ones actually for better but are getting short. So she needs the "T" sizing but still has a young toddler, chubby body. Any recs for brands that run looser?
