mine started only at 39 weeks, I had them at my OB check up and could barely sit still, and went into labour 6 days later.

I had them from 22 weeks on. Then having more painful ones since 35 weeks. I am 39 weeks now and just waiting for baby. I don't really think BH mean anything when it comes to when the baby comes.

I had pretty intense ones starting around 30 weeks. They would be mildly painful and timetable in the evenings most days. I had ds at 40+3

I get them, but don't feel them (I have to happen to be touching my belly when they happen to notice). Same with pregnancy #1. I never felt any sort of contractions (and therefore don't know how frequent they were/are) until a week prior to birth.

I've had them since 20w, they are constant when I'm walking or moving or shifting positions and occasionally timable take your breath away kind. I'm currently 39w and no sign of baby yet!

Thanks for all the input! This is actually easing my worry. I don't mind and am actually anticipating on going past my EDD, but was just starting to worry a bit since they are getting a little strong.

I had a ton and had a scheduled -section at 40+2. I also had actual labor contractions, dilation and effacement for almost a month before she was born, which didn't help speed things up either.

I had them from 20 weeks or so and they were quite strong throughout my third trimester. Sometimes even regular and timeable. I went into labor at 40+3

I am curious to hear about other mama's experiences with braxton hick contractions (intensity, frequency, etc.) and when you ended up going into labor.

I am currently 31w and have been having BH contractions since around 25w. At first they were pretty mild and not very frequent, maybe a couple times a day. More recently, they are growing with intensity and frequency. Not to a point where I think they are moving to actual contractions, but just getting really uncomfortable. I am wondering if this could be an indicator that labor will come before EDD.
