She used to do Magic Straight but has converted to Brazilian because she says it makes her hair smoother (she has thick hair with really tight curls) and lasts longer. My eyes are majorly stinging because of the suspected formaldehyde. I never had them sting that much before. And I've had Magic Straight Perms in the past. Not to mention, it only lasted a few months before my hair started getting wave again.
