i ate scrambled eggs (1 whole egg + 2 egg whites) and a large glass of whole milk for breakfast throughout my pregnancy. my doula emphasized the importance of protein for pregnant women so i tried to eat a lot of protein!

I was thinking hard boiled eggs would be a good option. Easy to eat and don't smell as bad as eggs cooking. :)

I make protein smoothie that is really good.

I use a cup of Fage greek yogurt (18g protein), some frozen berries, half a banana, and usually a big handful of spinach (you can't even taste it.) A smoothie with scrambled eggs/eggwhites would be a great breakfast!

Egg whites and eggs are great for protein! Yogurt with granola and fruit is good too.

I'm nursing and I eat 2 eggs, 1 strip of bacon and a wheat and gluten free waffle. :)

I am guilty of eating a ham and cheese breakfast sandwich every morning (heated, of course) to get the most protein out my first and favorite meal of the day. But lately, I've been feeling like I should change it up and maybe not be eating ham at all (nitrates).

Any suggestions for a high protein breakfast? Do you have any recipes or foods that you are your go-tos?
