@NYCaliMama: @Honeybee: @marriedandlovingit: @Sammyfab: Sounds like 4-5 months is when everyone is transitioning their LO out of the swaddle. I have his sleep sack ready to be put on. Might try it tonight since we don't have to be anywhere tomorrow morning just in case I lose some sleep! Thanks for sharing your experiences!

We transitioned into the Magic Sleepsuit at 4 months and he did great!!! I was soooo scared as i had witnessed lo waking himself up with his arms, but it was a super easy transition for us and we will probably transition out of the Sleepsuit in the next month or two.

Sounds like my son! We have tried 3 different swaddle techniques, and has broken out of each! Yesterday we decided to go cold turkey and he did so well! He slept for 12 hours last night and had decent naps. He seemed more comfortable being able to move about last night and slept like a rock!

We just swaddle weaned DS at 4.5 months. We went to a sleep sack for about 3 nights, and then switched to footed sleepers. I'm very happy to say he had a regression on the third night, but he has been sleeping better than ever since we took away the swaddle. I hope you have an easy time with it, too!

hmm, with my first DD, it was around 4-5 months and with my second DD, at around 3 months. The sleep sack definitely helped. I did do the "one arm out" swaddle for 1-2 nights at first with DD1... DD2, we just went cold turkey. Good luck!

Who breaks out of the miracle blanket? My LO! And I'm sure many others as well at around 4 months. :) I think it's really time to move him to a sleep sack this week. I'm afraid. Is he going to sleep through the night? That's my biggest fear. Is he going to scratch up his face? Another fear. I cut his nails weekly but it seems like it's not enough. I can't seem to remember when I moved my oldest but he never had a problem with sleep.

When did you move your LO to a sleep sack from a swaddle and did they have problems sleeping through the night? If so, how long did it take for them to get used to sleeping w/o a swaddle?
