We have found that she likes milk from a straw and water from her other sippy.

We never tried BM in a sippy.

If you are transitioning after Thanskgiving and stopping pumping after Christmas, I would just do the 1 bottle of BM per day and WCM in the sippy. Save the extra BM

I am still struggling with this! She only likes water from her sippy cups and refuses formula or breastmilk if it isn't in a bottle! :-(

Just wondering if anyone else has done this?

Background: My LO is 11 months and we are getting ready to transition her to the toddler room at her daycare a few weeks after thanksgiving. However, for various reasons, I am planning to breastfeed and pump until Christmas.

The toddler room is much more structured than the infant room, and they want the kids to drink from sippy cups but allow one bottle a day to be drunk at the lunch/snack table. It seems easier to transition her to having her milk from a sippy now and then carry that skill to the new room since she will have so much else to get used to.

She drinks water great from a straw cup so I am planning to do that. I am just wondering if anyone else has done this and if so, how did it go? was it a hard transition? did your LO mind not having the milk warm?

Thanks in advance!
