Also on bili light for a while but was off within a week of birth. She was a bit yellow until about 2 months old.</p> <p>DD2 was also jaundiced with bili light but less visibly so, so not sure if that was breast milk jaundice or not. He is now 5 weeks old. His bili levels have only dropped 1 point since 3 weeks ago. They are still in a “safe” range but he’s visibly yellow. Our ped is attributing it to breast milk jaundice and said he’s not worried and won’t test levels again until his 2 month check. </p> <p>Does this sound right? He is definitely getting enough breast milk as he has gained 4 lbs this month. I’m calling our old pediatrician today for a second opinion (I miss her. We only switched because we moved 6 hours away). Anyone have any experiences with jaundice beyond 1 month old? </p>
