Rare Ameda vote here...I had the same options for free pumps and selected it because I like that it is a closed system, so there is less chance for contamination/mold getting into the milk and no need to clean the tubing. I know some people say it doesn't work for them, but I even had oversupply (probably related to the pumping I did when DD was newborn and had feeding problems so I had to pump to protect my supply).

@Alivoo01: I have the freestyle and then got the generic medela dbl electric (like the PISA) and preferred that one for work! Much stronger suction. The freestyle was nice for maternity leave / at home. but def not as strong!

@mrsjyw: Didn't you have the Freestyle also? If so, you prefered the PISA over Freestyle?

The PISA bag is no great shakes... I'd get the freebie and put it in a sturdy, somewhat padded bag.

If you are able to afford it, I'd get the Freestyle! Its much lighter/more portable than the PISA, which really makes a difference if you are lugging your pump to and from work.

I like my PISA but, given the choice, I'd love to have the portability of the Freestyle. I think you can buy tote bags separately, though, for a lot less than $125+, so if you go with the PISA I don't think it's worth the upcharge for the bag. Target has 20% off Medela stuff right now and I'm pretty sure I saw a tote listed there.

I wish I had the medela freestyle, my insurance doesn't have free pumps and I couldn't find one in a store when I was looking. I do have the PISA, and recommend that before the ameda.

I really like the portability of my Freestyle. If you're only ever going to pump at work though, you might not mind being tied to a bag.

I'm still waiting for confirmation from my insurance itself, but I logged my information into Pumping Essentials and I have the following choices. Advice/input appreciated!

Medela Pump In Style Advanced and Ameda Purely Yours are both free. They come with a bra but no bag.

Then they are offering the following from $135-$155 (they include the bags which the free ones don't): Medela Freestyle, Medela Pump In Style and Pump in Style Advanced, Ameda Purely Yours. Is the bag really worth $135-$150 more?
