I just figured it was because she hadn't gone in a couple days. She just hit six months and we've been playing around with BLW. I can't indefinitely answer, as my son isn't BF, but the longer food stays in, the thicker the stool is. That is why EBF babies poop more often and it is very watery or runny, because BM digests so quickly (so it runs through). He hasn't had a bowel movement in 7 days and just had one. Finally! It was super thick though! It was yellow like usual. But very thick like peanut butter. I've never seen it so thick before. Is this b/c he hadn't gone in 7 days? Is this normal? </p>
