@Sapphiresun: I think it was more like a clogged pore because from what I've seen from google( not recommended) a Bleb is much bigger. Either way, I'm so relieved it's gone! @lawbee11: thanks. I'll keep an eye on it.
@Foodnerd81: lol. Super soaker boob is right! Thanks for the tip

@jh524: so glad you cleared it out!! I had a similar experience, though mine wasn't as bad as yours sounds. Same thing though- hard massage in the shower, finally saw the little white spit, scraped it, and bam! Super soaker boob! Keep offering that one first for a few feedings to make sure it's cleared.

@jh524: Yay! Glad you got it out. I've had a couple of clogged ducts and each one was followed by the "bleb." And it was the same duct that kept getting clogged, so make sure to keep an eye on yours. Nursing was so painful. I started taking lecithin (as recommended on that site), and I haven't had one since :)

Oh my goodness, I'm sure I was making serious pained faces reading this post. I'd never heard about plugged ducts that pop through the skin, but now I'm glad that if that ever becomes an issue I'll know what to do with a "bleb".

The things they don't tell you about breastfeeding, eh?

@lawbee11: THANK YOU!!! Great info.!!

@junebugmama,@MamaMoose, @Anutka, @Beehive, @Mrs. Confetti, @threeplusme: since you all cared about my boob by offering me suggestions, I'd thought I'd give you all an update. After reading the link @lawbee11 suggested I decided to take a hot shower and "go in" by massaging. After five minutes I noticed a tiny pin prick sized white dot. I was thinking maybe it was the clogged duct. I kinda pinched at it like you would a pimple and heavens gates opened literally!!! The milk streamed/sprayed out and I had instant relief. It took a good 15-20 minutes for it to completely empty. hooray!!! That was amazing!!!

I'm posting this for a future breastfeeding mom as who might have this happen in the future. Wow! I'm so grateful for my Bees!!!

@jh524: This is the website I refer to when I get clogged ducts. I've never had one bad enough to have to resort to #2 under the "Desperation" heading, but maybe it's worth a shot since #1 didn't work?

Mske sure you are offering the side with the clog first at every feeding so hopefully the most vigorous sucking will clear the clot. Good luck I know how you feel.

@Beehive, @Mrs. Confetti: I tried dangle feeding and lo wiggled and squirmed. Got maybe five minutes worth then had to go back to out normal position just so he ate well. No changes, its still large and hard. I even soaked in hot water and massaged before nursing. :( I'm so worried and scared how it will be overnight and in the morning. It's so painful

The dangle feeding was the only thing that ever helped me with clogged ducts...

Hope it clears fast - those are the worst!

@jh524: I have had two plugged ducts, and that's what it sounds like you have.... I found this page on Kellymom to be a great resource: http://kellymom.com/bf/concerns/mother/mastitis/#usualtreatment

Also one really good way I found to apply heat is to take an athletic sock or other thick sock, fill it with rice, and stick it in the microwave for 30-40 seconds. The rice holds the heat well, and you can just stick it in your nursing bra.

ETA: I second the recommendation for "dangle feeding" (where you're hovering above the baby) - for me, both times the plug cleared while LO was nursing, so having him nurse as much as possible was key.

@jh524: be careful with cabbage leaves, because they are also used to dry up supply

@junebugmama, @MamaMoose: okay, I'll try nursing that way and see if it helps. @Anutka: good idea! I'll do that tomorrow if I'm still hurting. Thanks!

I've got another weird one for you to try - cabbage leaves! Just put them in your bra like brest pads :)

Totally agree with @junebugmama: . Nursing by dangling my boob over baby was the most effective thing to help me clear clogged ducts. Good luck!

It sounds like a clogged duct. This may sound weird but it sounds like you're trying everything. But there's one more thing to try!

Get on all fours and let gravity help the clog. Either by hanging over your baby or using the pump. If you can manage to massage the lump at the same time, that should hopefully get it

I have a large, hard and very tender lump in my breast that appeared in the middle of the night last night. Today, I've tried everything like massage, warm compress, hot bath 2x, pumping, nursing and it's not going away. It's not even getting smaller and my milk supply is dwindling fast. lo tries to nurse on that side but he pops off quickly. It's so painful, stings and very swollen. No red marks...Any advice?

Yesterday I accidentally hit my boob and I wonder if I damaged something. Also, LO hasn't been nursing near as much the last few days.
