Drink water when you can.... I had that bug and my supply dipped--took LO a week of nursing extra to bring my supply back up.
If you really can't keep things down, go to the doc and get IV fluids.

I had a stomach virus when LO was about 6 months and couldn't keep anything down either, but we made it through and my supply was fine. The only thing that worked for me was to suck on ice chips and to take very small sips of water every 15-20 minutes when I was awake. Try not to worry (yeah, right, I know), but stressing yourself out will only make it worse. Keep nursing your LO whenever you usually do, even if you don't feel like you have any milk. If it was me, I'd probably go to the doctor or ER in the morning if I still couldn't keep liquid down so that I could get a fluid IV. Hope you feel better very soon!

I went through a terrible round of something early on with my second LO--and all I can say is...drink as much water as you can! If you can't stomach it now, as soon as you can, do it! Keep yourself hydrated and then drink to keep your supply up! But take care of yourself first!!

I am so praying I just have food poisoning and it passes, but I've been vomiting since 1 and can't keep anything down. I'm terrified I'm going to lose my supply. Does anyone have any advice of things to take or do?
