I like to pull down so I don't have a bunch of fabric around their faces. But if I'm in public or someone else's house, I usually pull up, or layer so I pull up my shirt and down my nursing tank and no flabby tummy skin is revealed.

Depends on the shirt! Some shirts I didn't want to stretch out the neckline to nurse, so I'd make sure I wore a nursing tank underneath so I could pull up. But I had a few loose or elastic neckline shirts I wouldpull down and it was so much easier

If I can pull it down, I'll do that. It helps to boost up my boob as well or else LO can't latch in too well. Plus I always feel like I'm suffocating her. I may nend to do this tank top underneath thing though, that's a good idea. I need more clothes :(

When I used a shirt that was DESIGNED for nursing, it was always pull down, but I mostly wore my own tshirts, and it was much easier to pull up, besides, it gave a little shield keeping people to look at my boobs, lol.

@MrsStar: This. I started off always pulling down, but having to wear clothes all the time that you can do that to without stretching turns into a pain. And if you're large chested it can be trickier.
