Up until she hit 4 mths it was the only way I could get a real nap out of her, nap with her &amp; nurse her to sleep side-lying. Otherwise we usually do the cradle more with DD sitting on my lap, like you described. I also liked sitting up the one time I tried it but DD still isn't great at grabbing &amp; position my boob do it was kind of difficult since she sits higher than my nipple. I do it every morning for sure, and if he wakes in the night. I also do it if I'm feeling exceptionally tired.</p> <p>Others I do cradle. But until he was 4-5 months I did football a ton - he nursed better and had a better grip that way.
