We are at 5 months now and no pain.</p> <p>If it hurts a lot when baby is feeding then maybe you should try different feeding positions...this helped me a lot (now I do football hold rather than cradle). I want to say mine were a bit sore for like 8 weeks, then it suddenly went away. Now at 9 months, no soreness at all. Mine are still sore sometimes at almost 7 weeks. But not constantly. Definitely check your latch. I use lanolin to help with relief. Lansinoh also has these gel breast pads that feel Amazing on sore nipples! Have you tried calling a LC?<br /> She reaffirmed the whole night that BFing should not be painful.
