OMG, same here! My LO is 13w and has never had great overnight sleep. We had been getting better - maybe 7hrs then 3, but now he's up every 3 and then for good around 6:30a. He was up at 3a this morning and never really went back to sleep. He cries at the end of each side I'm feeding, and I'm so frustrated. He's been pooping fairly regularly, though, but he grunts like crazy sometimes like he's having trouble getting it out.

Maybe it's something in the air-- lil miss wagon is EXACTLY like this for the past 2-3 days too!! Sooooo fussy when eating, sleeping only 3 or so hours at a time at night. So inconsistent. She was taking 3-4 hour naps last week, and today has been 2 hrs, 1/2 hr, 1/2 hr, and in the middle of a 1 hr nap so far right now. Between fussing at the breast AND bottle I have no idea how much or when she's eating. She usually poops several times a day but didn't poop for a good 12-24 hours at one point. She's pooping again now but still so fussy. Whta the heck! (she's 9 weeks)

I was at the doctor yesterday having the saw issue with LO. The said to try and take a rectal temp because it can get things going. Guess who had a HUGE dirty diaper not too long after they did this...

I have tried gripe water and ovol drops. They have helped her with gas thats for sure. Its good to know im not the only one to go through this! I just fed her and she fussed at the end of each boob. I tried pumping after she finished and i could only pump out enough to just barely cover the bottom of the bottle. Maybe shes not getting enough milk?! Is it to young to introduce rice cereal with milk?

Yeah, my daughter is like this. She gets on the boob and 5 minutes later, starts fussing. I will usually switch boobs at that point and give her the other. She is most happy when milk is continuously dripping. I will flip her back to the other one as soon as she gets fussy on the other side. She does fine on the bottle. She doesn't have this problem nursing at night. I know it's a belly or reflux issue so we just work through it. If she still screams after nursing, I will offer her a bottle of a few ounces. Sometimes she will drink it, sometimes she has gotten enough from me.

I don't have any good answers, I just am there with you and feel your pain (and hers)!!!

I always recommend gripe water for tummy issues. My LO would cry and scream when feeding her when her tummy was constipated, now that I give her gripe water she is happy and pooping regularly

Ok bees. I need your help and expertise! My LO is going on 14 weeks. She hasnt pooped in 3 going on 4 days. She normally poops 3-4x a day. She is a farting machine. Shes generally happy except when feeding. Its a complete nightmare! She will eat for about 5 minutes and the go into a complete flail and start screaming. I will try burping and then switching sides. Sometimes she will calmly eat but most times she instantly cries and screams. I was trying pumping through the day to give her a bottle at night just dor extra food to get her to sleep longer during the night. I thought maybe she was getting 'spoiled' from the bottle so I stopped but this is still going on days and days after. Im so tired of this behaviour! I should add that a couple weeks ago she was sleeping routinely 10-5 during the night. Now she sleeps 10-3 and sometimes was up at 130. Im considering pumping bottles for the day and still nursing at night but am afraid this will ruin her breastfeeding altogether. Please tell me this is a phase and it will return to normal soon! I also should add that she drool A LOT and has done so for at least a month now and maybe she is teething and its hurting to suck. I dont know. I have exhausted myself on Dr.Google and driving myself crazy!

Thanks bees :)
