Our dining room is dark gray/charcoal, our bedroom has a dark burnt orange wall, DD's room is a pretty light turquoise, and our bathroom is a dark grayish purple. Our kitchen is this horrible grass green color--it was like that when we moved in. I am dying to paint it but I can't imagine taking the cabinets off to paint, or even trying to paint around them. UGH. Everything else (guest room, living room, hallway) are this beige color that I am not really a fan of, but I have decorated the crap out of them so it kind of detracts from the wall color. I am loving bright white lately... Honestly, if I were living in a house with fresh, neutral paint I would just keep it that way! We felt like we had to paint when we moved in because it appeared that the old owners let their kids kick the walls on a daily basis. At our new place our bedroom is a super light gray and the living/dining area is a soft, grayish blue. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets are either a mushroom gray or a soft, avocado green (kitchen is green on top and gray on bottom) and the walls will be a mocha color. The baby's room is a Tiffany-ish blue. I haven't decided what to paint the hallway or the office. Both rooms were like that when we moved in. The other bathroom had wallpaper, which we removed and painted burgundy-ish. Everything else is beige. Not bright bright, but medium shades of green, yellow, blue, pink. My parents house is full of seriously bright/bold colors. I guess one could say our living and dining rooms are neutral. They're gray. Our kitchen is a bright blue, our bathroom pink, our room red, and LO's room green. Our hallway is soon to be a goldish yellow with a brown accent wall. I really like color! Our new house is freshly painted with a nice neutral cream (white trim) and I'm considering leaving them like that...at least for now! We'll be painting the baby's room but that's it I think. In our old house we painted our living room burgundy and we had both one blue and one yellow bathroom!
