Nope. I always bring food for LO. I'd rather be prepared with something he can eat than have him eating junk or not eating at all.

Not rude at all! I bring food for DS to eat even at my inlaws. My SIL is relaxed about her baby eating whatever we eat but I prefer to take his own and nobody ever says anything about it!

Nope, not for a kid! I almost always pack food and drinks in my diaper bag b/c my toddler is super picky. I know a few other moms with older kids who bring their own food b/c their kids are picky. I don't think it's rude at all :)

I wouldn't think twice about someone bringing a special meal for a baby/toddler. Kids are just on different schedules and diets than adults, and I'm sure other moms understand. I mean I'm good with cake for dinner for myself, but she eats healthy... haha.

Not at all. There are two moms in our group that being their own food to every gathering. One is vegan and the other is really picky. I don't find it offensive at all; I certainly wouldn't be offended if they brought for their child.

Sometimes my mom's group will get together after nap time and it will go well into dinner time. Everyone always volunteers to bring stuff, but it usually ends up being snacks like cookies and cake. Sometimes there is sufficient food to be considered dinner for LO, but most times i leave wishing i had brought food for LO. The last time i ended up bringing a big dish that i knew LO could have for her dinner.

If you were hosting, would you be offended if one of your guests brought extra food for their own LO?
