All of our stuff is in the basement and we will probably wait until the last minute to bring it out. I'm thinking it will probably come out mid-June, after our family vacation.

I'm not looking forward to how crowded it's going to be with the toddler toys and giant baby things!!!

We put most of it off until a few weeks before she was due. Once her room was finished, I started organizing things in there which helped keep the clutter down. I had the carseat professionally cleaned when I was 34 weeks or so.

We're putting this off for as long as possible. I actually feel more reassured this time that all baby needs is me, milk, diapers and some clothes. But it definitely helps knowing we have all the big ticket items in the storage room and don't have to pick out and buy new ones.

We have 0 storage and only 2 closets in our entire condo, so our stuff has already been "out", but like, shoved in corners in our bedroom and stuff. So no big changes here!

All we have for a baby is a RnP and a bouncer seat.....I feel like our toddler's stuff (tent, small tables and chairs, big toys) take up just as much or more space.

HAHA i'm 38 weeks+ and we just brought out some stuff this weekend! E climbed into a swing immediately (that, of course, she hated as an infant). but yes, totally feeling the "ugh, infants need so much more crap than toddlers". I had gotten used to having my counter tops back, and now i'm going to have to put bottles and stuff back on it! And get out the PnP and the RnP and i got all the swaddles out......

SIIIIIGHHHHHHH

We're picking up our infant car seat from my parent's house during Mother's Day weekend. Otherwise, a good chunk of our previous baby gear got damaged by our neighbors' flooding our son's closet. I've got 5 weeks until my due date. I'm not purchasing anything until right before delivery. In the first days, you don't need much, so I'm not going to fret about it.

ETA: We're going to be selling our condo soon, so removing the clutter is our main focus, not adding to it.

Talk about sh*t getting real! We spent a good chunk of our wknd, hauling out baby gear out of storage, organizing the nursery, throwing away some stuff, reorganizing our storage closet, cleaning, etc.

DS#1 was THRILLED about all of his NEW toys :P He also tried to climb in the infant carseat, laid in the bouncer, and insisted that we put him in the baby swing (we didn't.).

We still have 3 months to go, but figured we'd get a head start before a few trips we have coming up in May. When did you start bringing out old baby gear? Did you realize how much crap that you "need" for a tiny infant all over again?!
