We do our best to keep them off the bed and away from the windows but it doesn't always work. As for the drapes, I would stick with a neutral, like a pretty white or off white since the walls are a vibrant color. And if you do a dark drape the room would seem really dark and small. We are doing this today!!! I am excited we finally get to have something nice now that the dog is over his chew on EVERYTHING stage. I just don't know what to get to go with the purple! I thought about Gold, found this at Kohl's, I just don't want all of it to be gold, maybe some accent red pillows? What would you do keep the gold or accent with another color.
