@Anagram: I don't have two kiddos, just one (we might have a second, but aren't sure just yet . . . and yet I wanted a stroller with second seat options . . . *scratcheshead*). I don't have experience with the bassinet options, but the car seat options I have seen in action with another mom, and they worked great. (The older child loved sitting in the lower seat!)

If I remember correctly, the UBV second seat doesn't recline, you can't use the bassinet with the second seat, and the seats are closer together than the seats on the B-Ready. Also, the UBV seemed harder to turn when fully loaded (weight distributed differently than the B-Ready). There were a couple of other things I didn't like about the UBV as a double, but I can't remember now what they were . . . although I do love the UBV as a single!

I also sort of test drove the BJCS . . . it was really heavy and harder to maneuver (longer frame, and different weight distribution).

@tororojo: I saw the kiwi one online and I love it! But for some reason, my BBB doesn't carry it (and won't be carrying it), so I wouldn't get 20% off. I like the red and kiwi though. I think black is too hot for summer (I live in a walking city so expect to use this a lot) and I just don't like the tan color.

@MsLipGloss: you're right, the UBV doesn't have great second seating either.....I just think the B-ready is a tiny worse at the stage when you have an infant in the car seat or bassinet. It seems to leave very little room for the other kid in the second seat. Has it worked for you with two kids in it, when one is an infant using the car seat or bassinet? Because I'd love some reassurance. That's why I keep going back and forth between the B-Agile and the B-ready. If I'm going to want a better double stroller later anyway, then why spend more money on the B-ready now? But if I'll like the double stroller arrangement later, then it would be a good investment.

This video shows what I mean around 3:24. With the car seat facing back towards the parent, it seems just inches away from the face of the second kid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTfhv8jiEZU

@Anagram: I disagree about the UBV having better second seating than the B-Ready. I specifically chose the B-Ready because it has more, and better, seating options for the second seat. The B-Ready cannot, of course, fully compete with the City Select for second seating options, but it is much better (IMO) than the UBV.

@Anagram: B-Agile also comes in green (kiwi). I considered it but never saw one in stores, so we got red. But I saw someone pushing it at the mall the other day and thought it was a pretty color! B-Nimble comes in a darker green that I love, but I don't think that's one that you're considering.

I have the B-Agile and I think it sits up pretty straight....I never noticed it being so reclined back that it would be a negative. Then again LO is only 5 months so he's not really sitting in it yet.

The newest B-Agile still only has 3 positions, but who knows what they will come out with next year. But I have to get a stroller in the next 10 weeks, so I won't get to wait for a better model! (sad face).

Another plus for the B-Ready.

@Springtime: Yup...the 4th position on the B ready is very upright. I only know this because we've been to test-drive strollers twice in the last week.

I like the add-a-seat feature, too. The reason I'm still torn between the B-ready and the B-Agile (other than price) is that the two seats on the B-ready really aren't that great for a tandem double stroller--because one kids' view is always blocked. BUT, as Dh pointed out, when the second one is an infant, they don't really "need" to see and they will be facing the parents pushing the stroller anyway. So it might not be an issue....

But if I were having twins, I would probably go with the Citi Select tandeb double or the Uppababy tandem double instead. Both of those have better positioning for the two kids. But they are both also way, way more expensive.

One other plus in the B-Ready category v. the B-Agile is that the new B-ready has more colors. I LOVE the navy and the B Agile only has black, red, and tan.

@Springtime: I just have the B-Ready so I can't speak to the B-Agile but I would suspect that if Britax addressed it on one stroller, they might address it on others as well.

@T.H.O.U.: So BOTH the newer models B Ready and B Agile now sit up straight?

Do you prefer your B Ready over the B Agile?

@Anagram: I was also interested in the B Ready! I like how you can add a seat, and we do want number 2 sooner rather than later.

So does the B Ready sit up straight?

Make sure you look at the different year models of Britax. This is something they have addressed in newer models.

I have a 2011 B-Ready and it only has 3 seat positions. I had a safety strap come undone so they sent me a new seat but they actually sent a 2012 seat which has 4 seat positions, one of which is basically upright.

Yup...that was one of my concerns, too....I posted a few months back about it. Basically, the pros of the Britax are that you can use coupons (like the 20% off at BBB) and you can't with the Baby Jogger brands, so that makes it even cheaper. A lot of people prefer the Britax's snap-in system for the car seat as opposed to the weird car seat adaptor you have to buy for the Citi Mini.

-They are both one-handed folds
-both light weight
-I tested both and the new Citi Mini GI has a much better "ride" because of the new wheels. The old Citi Mini and the B agile are really comparable.
-Citi Mini has the lower bar that some parents complain about running into when walking--the B Agile has a higher bar.

After going back and forth and back and forth between the two---now DH and I have made a complete change and are considering the B-Ready (the bigger Britax stroller). The new model's wheels are more like the Citi Mini GT, it has 4 positions for baby to sit in (one is upright), it has a bigger storage basket, and you can put in a bassinet or infant car seat easily with the click in system. It's a two-handed fold, but a really easy fold and it stands upright by itself after it's folded.

With the Britax Free Ride event coming up in 2 weeks, you can get a car seat or bassinet for free with the stroller, so using a 20% coupon at BBB, the stroller and carseat will be about $400. which is the same price as the Citi mini GT + a car seat adaptor. Add in a car seat and the Citi mini GT is way more expensive than even the Britax B Ready.

Hope that helps!

When comparing B Agile vs City Mini I have found many reviews that the B Agile seat doesn't sit up as straight. Has this been a problem for anyone who has the B Agile?

I'm looking into getting a new stroller and love the price of the Britax but I think that might pose a problem because my son loves to sit up and look around.

What are some other pros that B Agile has over the City Mini?
