@ChelseaRose: Not really. I drive a charger but the backseat is pretty deep.

@ChelseaRose: yes! We're still TTC, but I find researching/picking out baby gear helps occupy my disappointing months:) I think the the size is the only reason not to go with the chaperone. I love that it has the shoulder strap adjustment from the from so you don't have to rethread the straps and that it has side impact protection. I've read you have to have 80% of the chaperone's base on seat and it depends on your car if you can have the seat touch the back of the carseat. Do you have a buy buy baby near you that you could try to install it at? Babiesrus near me doesn't carry them. I hope to get a chaperone, I have a Pacifica so I think that should be okay, but DH drives a corolla, lol, so we would probably leave a convertible seat in his car in case he needed it, but mostly use my car for family outings. Let us know how it fits! :)

Is anyone concerned about the chaperone fitting in their vehicle?

I have a toyota highlander, which should be more than enough space. My husband's vehicle, which is a 4-door toyota tacoma truck, may be a tighter fit. His backseat is noticeably smaller that mine.

I'm trying to decide between the B-Ready and the B-Agile. I'm a smaller girl so I feel that the B-Agile will be easier for me, but the B-Ready is such a great deal!

We were already planning to buy the Chaperone and the Marathon/Boulevard, so it all works out to about the same price.

Anyone have any thoughts on B-Ready vs. B-Agile?

@HabesBabe: the math is in your favor! you can totally use it to persuade DH! you said you have the b-safe already right? i'm going to use amazon prices posted now for this argument.

b-safe $0-you already have it!
b-ready $398
basinet or 2nd seat $0 free with b-ready
carrier $78 (i've heard these show up on nobetterdeal sometimes for $40 & change, none there now, but you could keep checking back)
sunshade 2 pk (or other small accessory) $10
boulevard 70 convertible seat $0 for submitting UPC for each of the items above!!

$486 spent to own approx $1,290 worth of britax!! even if you ended up changing your mind, you could totally sell it & easily get your $$ back. the b-ready alone retails for $499.99 and you'll need a convertible seat anyway- the free one you'd get retails for $319, so for the extra $167 you'd get a sick stroller that could be used as a double in the future, a carrier, sun shades (or whatever little thing), and a second seat for future baby #2 or a bassinet!!

i am the queen of enabling shoppers to justify their purchases, it's a gift really =P

I hope they do this next year, too! We got a B-Agile/B-Safe system for our first baby, and I would love to get a B-Ready when #2 comes along... this is such a good deal, but I know hubs would KILL ME if I bought another stroller (especially a double stroller!) when we don't even have our first baby yet!

I read on another board that you can use the free ride in conjunction with the free convertible registry reward offer because the registry reward program is a reward program for not purchasing or registering for an item in each category, but for OWNING one, so as long as you have the UPC from each package to mail in, you should be good! Even if you didn't want the baby carrier, it might be worth it to get one just to use the UPC to get the $300+ convertible seat.

That would be great if you could combine it!

I have a 2011 stroller but just got a 2012 seat for the B-ready (my strap came unsewn so they sent me a whole new seat). The 2012 seat is a bit different and I have to save the 4 positions recline is great (particularly the extra 4th upright one). I think the wheels will be a nice change too but I don't mind mine.

I just saw that Britax is doing their Free Ride event again. Last year we were able to get the B-Ready stroller and the Chaperone infant carrier car seat for $400. You buy the stroller full price (Amazon typically has the best price and lets you use a registry completion code too) and you get the car seat, bassinet, or second seat for free!

I was in love with the UppaBaby Vista but couldn't afford a $600+ stroller plus $150-$200 for a carseat. I didn't love the Chicco and as a set it was still almost $300 for the stroller and seat. I am so happy that I spent what I feel a reasonable amount for stroller and car seat for something that has all the features I love (more review and pictures on my blog).

The colors do start to sell out on Amazon!
