The Bsafe is a little smaller than the chaperone because it doesn't have the anti-rebound bar. I think you can also get adapters to fit different car seats. But I think most infant seats are pretty huge. I have friends who used to just have a smaller car and the wife would rid in the back because she couldn't fit in the passenger seat.

Do you guys who have it in the middle have really wide center consoles? Ours is so narrow if we put it in the middle the base touches both seats and DH can't scoot his chair up because he's super tall.

Hmm. My only other option is the BSafe because I already bought the BAgile

I googled it and a lot of people say it fits in the center. It's okay to hang off a bit... Idk where I read how much is okay though.

I have it in the center seat in my Nissan Murano which is a mid-size SUV. Fits great even when my extremely tall husband pushes the seat back all the way.

We have it in our Pontiac G6 and Chevy Impala, both in the middle. That was the only place it would fit with out having to move the seats up a lot, which was not even an option to us.

I don't have anything to add but I'll be subscribing to this thread to see what you find out. I'm in the same boat as you, I have a Ford Focus and all the carseats seem like they would be huge in my car. Right now we are leaning towards the Britax B-Safe or Chicco Keyfit 30.

We're in a convertible now so no pics but it fit fine in our Buick lesabre and tiny two door Honda civic; we had both checked by the police.

I don't know about Ford, but I have a Nissan and they put out a list of every make/model they have and what car seats fit in them. Maybe you can find something similar for Fords?

I have a mid size SUV (Volvo XC90). We had the chaperone in the middle. It fit well in there.

I know a few ladies on here have the Chaperone..
I was just wondering what kind of car you all have, and how it fits?

I have a 2008 Ford Focus and I ordered a base online, that sucker is HUGE. The only place the base fits is behind the passenger seat (my seat) and I have to scoot it up for the base to fit. The seat itself looks like it sticks way out past the base in pictures online.. I don't have the seat and the closest store that has one I can go see is 2 hours away..

I was hoping to get an idea of how it fits (perhaps with pictures?? :) ) from you guys so I know if I need to go see the seat in person, or sell my extra base.
Unfortunately at this point i'm thinking i'll have to go with a different seat
