We have the pavilion and an LO in 90th percentile or so for height. Her feet touched the seat very quickly rear facing but she didn't know any different so she just sucked it up. We just turned her around before her 2nd birthday. She either crossed her legs or put them up the back of the seat and complained about the straps being tight.

It's usually not a big deal about leg room. They will learn to either cross their legs or put them to the sides. It doesn't mean they have outgrown the seat and should remain Rear facing until they either outgrow the top of the shell or the weight for rear facing. We have a britax and graco and the "leg room" is the same.

We just had LO's new car seat (Britax Pavilion) installed and are finding it tough to use. I was surprised at how little legroom LO has (he's 13 months old, 29") rear facing. I know that Britax car seats tend to have short shells, but I expected that he would have. A ways to grow into this seat.

Does anyone else have this seat and have this problem?
