@Mirage: I had almost the exact thing happen to me while pregnant. Stepped wrong off the last step while 17 wks pregnant and broke 2 out of 3 bones in my right ankle. I had to have full surgery and go under for it and then not walk on that leg for 8 weeks. This was hard since we have 2! sets of stairs in our townhouse. I was doing a lot of butt scoting and baby crawling up and down stairs for 8 weeks. My husband helped a lot by making lunch for me since I just worked at home and stayed on the couch. My daughter was born perfect and nothing wrong with her! Plus she is super relaxed and we always said it was because she had 8 weeks of pain meds!! :silly: Really just try to heal and relax and feel better! Good luck!

A daycare friend broke both of her legs while pregnant! It took a long time to heal and she said that apparently, bones can take time to heal during pregnancy. Once she gave birth though, they healed super quickly!

Not a break, but for a few weeks in April and May I had my knee (and most of my leg) in an immobilizer. I was 36w and between both things, sleep was near impossible! I'm now almost 5w pp waiting for knee surgery!

It sounds silly but just try to make good habits and before you know it the new inconveniences will feel normal.

Hope you feel better soon and cast doesn't have to stay on too long!

Sorry to hear about your fall! No advice, but my mom still mentions how she tripped off a curb when she was pregnant with me and then was on crutches. It happens, don't feel bad about it, just take it easy :)

So apparently baby brain and/or baby feet are in full swing, yesterday I was stepping off a step lost my balance and fell backwards and ended up breaking my arm/wrist. Baby seems to be fine, as it wasn't even a bad fall. I'm 24 weeks pregnant and just feel defeated. I'm already having problems adjusting to my growing body and sleeping. Anyone else broken any bones in preganancy? Amyone have advice dealing with pain, casts and overall inconveniences ?
