He wheezes about 1/3 of the time he gets a cold.. So it's not terrible and I know to start him on his treatment right away. My daughter didn't have any further issues. I think she has probably had 2-3 colds in the past year since she had bronchialitis...I would consider that pretty normal. We were in France when it happened and she was given respiratory physical therapy treatments for 1 week after being released. It's pretty impressive, the therapist basically compresses your LOs chest to help expel any phlegm that's stuck in the bronchioles. It was terrifying but we are on day 10 and he's almost back to normal. Ended up being bronchialitis and we are on day 3 of hospital stay. She is off oxygen and holding her own, so we probably get to go home.<br /> Can I just say- WTH?! I never knew there were so many ways a kid could get sick! When I was a kid, I either had a 'cold' or the 'flu', none of the fancy stuff my kid gets. Lol. </p>
