@kjpugs: I take nonprescription too. I think they're fine, my doctors answer to everything is no!

Eta: I'd call and ask to talk to a nurse to see what you can do.

@ladybee: yikes I never thought to ask about my allergy eye drops (target non prescription)

I wonder if Benadryl will help with the chest congestion? That's my biggest issue honestly.

@kjpugs: I have bad allergies and I take Benadryl daily and use a sinus wash. I was told I could use my allergy eye drops and flonase as needed after 20 weeks.
I hope you feel better!

@Jennimac: ahh Benadryl the one thing I wish I had and don't. (We usually have it but used it on the dogs recently after a fire ant attack!) That's on my list to pick up tomorrow!

My allergies tend to come and go- I had something like this when I lived in NC and they put me on an inhaler, but it went away after a little bit. I'm really hoping it starts to fade on it's own! I'm also turning up the humidifier full blast tonight.

I have bad allergies. I get shots every two weeks and take meds daily. I can take Claritin while pregnant and at night I take liquid Benadryl. I also use my saline rinse.

Blergggg. I think southern allergies are at work for me right now. I made a doctor's appointment for tomorrow when the symptoms started Friday (thinking I was getting bronchitis) I have the urge to cough and some of that heavier chest feeling, but also I keep waking up with a dry mouth (even with a humidifier) and having itchy eyes/congestion/stuffy nose, along with an on and off sore throat. It hasn't gotten worse and I really started thinking it's allergies so I cancelled my doctor's appointment tomorrow. Last time I went thinking it was an ear infection, it was.... ALLERGIES. And cleared up in a few days.

Oh, and I'll be 26 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I'm 95% sure it's allergies. I haven't dealt with them in years (we recently moved) any favorite ways to deal with them while knocked up? I have my doctor's approved meds list but wanted to hear what's worked for you bees!
