I sent a ton of my girlfriends to her too. I also delivered my DS at BI. But there was one doctor in particular that I had bad experiences with. Even though my doctor delivers most of her patients, she was out of town when I went into labor, and I really loved the doc who ended up delivering me. I saw 3 out of 4 docs in the practice and highly recommend all of them. My coworker delivered with a different doctor in that practice and loved it though, so maybe I was just unlucky.</p> <p>Dr. Pri Paz was my ob and I LOVED him. He is high risk though, so he might not take you. Don't be fooled by their birthing center.</p> <p>In fact I recommend not delivering in Manhattan. In most other places you will get a private postpartum room. They're a large group with all female doctors. With my pregnancy I had to see all of them and I can honestly say there was only one who I didn't like, and luckily she did not deliver LO. And in retrospect, she was heavily pregnant when I saw her so maybe she was just having an off day :)</p> <p>ETA: Before I got pregnant (and my insurance changed) I went to Spring, also in Soho.
