I had something similar to this like 15 years ago. It works really well for my hair. I have medium-fine fairly curly hair. I don't think it would work as well on thicker hair though.

@Oxana: I didn't find it to do much, to be honest. It was basically like I was brushing my hair with a regular brush.

I think if you're going to get this kind of brush, you need a pro model.

@looch: I think some of the reviews mentioned that, as well! I don't need my hair really straight, just less wavy/frizzy... Do you think it would work for that or does it not get hot enough to even do a basic job?

I have it. The main problem I have with mine is that it doesn't heat up enough to actually straighten. I much prefer a flat iron, I didn't realize how much I needed the clamping action of the flat iron to tame my hair.

@Oxana: I've never heard of this, but now I want it too! The pictures costumers posted make it seem like it works really well!

Has anyone used this Brush Straightener? It's a bestseller on Amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/Apalus-Straightener-Straight-Straightening-Detangling/dp/B00ZPHCB64/

I have really long hair, so I'd love to be able to ditch my regular straightener. I'm just having a hard time believing it's all it's cracked up to be!
