It was a giant roach on my ceiling! After having a mini (silent) freak out I decided I better kill it. Well, I couldn't reach it so I got out some kitchen cleaner and sprayed it a bunch. It fell on my foot, so I screamed and flailed until it came off. Then I smashed it with my husband's flip flop. A couple minutes later he comes out of the bedroom and asks me what is going on.
