I'm 17 weeks pregnant and was bit by black flies the other day, and I ended up having an allergic reaction! It's been a few days and they were still red and inflamed and crazy itchy, so I went to urgent care and the doctor told me it was an allergic reaction &amp; that pregnancy hormones can really change your body and how you react to things. I think bugs can definitely be more attracted to you when you're pregnant, too! I was being swarmed by little sweat bees the whole time and and no one else in the group was. And now tonight I'm watching DH's tennis match and I'm being eaten alive by mosquitos!</p> <p>Am I just unlucky today or could this be some sort of hormone/pregnancy thing? </p>
