@sauerkraut: fascinating!!! Glad I'm not alone.... and somewhat eases my mind the it could be unrelated to my pre-e issues because then maybe it's normal whackyness :silly:

I think I delivered around the same time as you (June 2016), and I've noticed my veins on the backs of my hands, tops of feet and forearms are now really bulgy sometimes. I even have one in my boob that pops up sometimes after breastfeeding, which is really weird. I didn't have much water weight gain or fluid retention when I was pregnant, so I'm chalking this up to hormones, breastfeeding, and maybe blood pressure or fluid fluctuations related to those things.

I have one on the inside of my knee. After my second pregnancy it went away but with my third it came back worse and hasn't gone away. My dermatologist said there may be some lasering they can do but since it's not really in a bad spot it's not worth it.

At the very end of my pregnancy I had a lot of swelling / retained water (I gained 35 lbs in 3 weeks!) And had mild pre-e for that last week before I ultimately delivered.

11 months pp I look at my arms or the tops of my feet or the back of my hands and see the veins are really bulgy.....like someone who is a body builder and you can see their veins.....and let's just say I have no where close to looking like a body builder otherwise!

I was never like this before pregnancy so I can only assume it is related. Did this happen to anyone else? If so...did it ever stop? I've noticed this for the past several months. At first I thought it was because you have extra blood in your system when pregnant.....but that has for sure regulated by now!
