Our most absorbent combo was a trifolded GMD medium with a BG doubler on top in a flip cover. But honestly the thing that helped the most was some early potty training- sitting on the little potty before bed and/or first thing in the morning.

I use a triple stuffed 4.0 (small insert, big insert and a thin Hemp Babies doubler) for my 2 year old and we don't get leaks.

I also had luck with Thirsties Fab Fitted diapers and an extra insert.

I would agree, a fitted is probably a good way to go. It was the only thing that worked for us.

Tell me your magic solution for heavy wetting toddlers overnight! :)

We have been using bg4.0s with various inserts for a year now, but my son is leaking out his left hip/leg again, even with 1 micro and 2 hemp inserts. I'm thinking it's just the combo of his sleeping style and the pocket style since DD is fine. I think a fitted might be the answer? Help, please and thank you!
