I found my one size diapers started fitting well without leaks around 12 lbs for my son (long and skinny). It may be the same for your LO.

Well she's either soaking through them or they aren't tight enough.

I would say stick with the disposables at night or a different cd until you figure it out.

My daughter is 6 weeks old, and we started using the BumGenius 4.0 one size diapers about 1.5 weeks ago. She is roughly 10lb 8oz, and 22 inches long. I thought she would be big enough for the diapers, and they feel pretty tight when we have them on her and snapped on almost the tightest settings, but they are still leaking pee.

We seem to be fine with poop, but they have leaked pee up the back overnight when she is sleeping, or out through the legs when she is upright being held. We use a hemp insert behind the BG insert overnight, and both are completely soaked (she usually sleeps 6-7 hours straight at night).

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with these diapers? Or maybe it's just that she needs to fill out a little more for them to be more effective?
