This pic was about a month later... you can see how red and raised it was :( my poor bug. But by this time it didn't even bother him when I pressed it anymore.

I was looking thru recent pics to show what it looks like now, but it's basically indiscernible. He wears a lot of hats and when his hair is long enough it covers it so I couldn't find any pics that show it!

We've had lots of goose eggs. The worst was right between his eyebrows. That had a bloody abrasion on top of it and he looked like he had a huge unibrow when it scabbed over. That healed and the goose egg remained for many months. It gave him a little angry look because it looked like he was furrowing his brows. The ped kept a close eye on it for a long time but said it was just scar tissue and would take a long time to go away. It's been maybe a little under a year now and it's barely noticeable. That was his worst goose egg though... he's had many that lasted well over a week but went away completely over time.

My husband has me questioning myself.

He's worried about the bump on our toddler's forehead. She got hit by a door a week ago. She had a huge goose egg and bruise on her forehead after getting hit. She still has a bruise and still has a lump (though not as big) on her head. My husband is worried sick about it, thinking she will have a lump on her head forever and she will scarred for life. (He may or may not be the reason the door hit her in the head...) I, on the other hand, think it will go away with time.

Has your kiddo ever been hit hard in the forehead, to the point of getting a huge knot on it? Has it gone away? How long did it take?
